A C-47 was supposed to do a air show before the start of TankFest 2015's grand finale, "Fury," but couldn't make it. We had to just make do and accept a Hurricane instead. This Hurricane mk IIc is the last Hurricane ever built and is in the Far East marking of HW840, coded ‘EG-S’, of 34 Squadron, South East Asia Command during 1944, the personal aircraft of Canadian pilot Flight Lieutenant Jimmy Whalen DFC. It is owned by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. So on day one we saw both a Spitfire and Hurricane.
